Splits on both the forward and reverse strokes doubling the productivity. Jammed logs are easily loosened by placing a log on the other side of the knife and backing the knife out. Shelves on either side of the bed keep split blocks from falling to the ground. They can split 20 inch diameter blocks to produce more than 50 face cords per day. The 3000 series can split 30 to 36 inch diameter logs.
